Thank You for 42 Amazing Years!

A message to our Valued Clients: 

It is with great sadness that we are announcing the closure of Greater Falls Travel on Sep. 30, 2021.  After 42 incredible years, beginning in Bellows Falls, VT, and adding Greenfield, MA a few years later, the time has come to say good-bye.  For all of us, the Pandemic has made our lives, businesses, and world, a challenge.  We feel proud that we have been able to come this far, however, with the variants, upticks, and restrictions, we feel this is the best decision, albeit a difficult one. 

On April 9, 1979, Greater Falls Travel began in the office on Westminster St., Bellows Falls, just “one flight up” by Paul & Karen Gustafson.  It was then that, not only a business started, but also, friendships.   Deep, personal friendships were birthed from not only the Bellows Falls office, but the Greenfield office, too.  With the ups and downs, ins and outs of the travel industry, Paul made sure we’d get through. In addition to these amazing friendships, our families all grew up in these offices. Paul & Karen’s kids, Erika & Bob, have had lives that were enhanced by their parents expertise of the world, which had them learning by traveling to Europe, the Caribbean and more, since toddlers.  What an amazing gift and privilege.  For Lisa, in our Greenfield office, 35 years of those same experiences have been shared by her and her family.  Not to mention how fortunate we all have been to have worked with so many amazing people during this time.  Once again, we have all been blessed with these amazing friendships. 

For us, this is also a celebration.  A celebration of all that we’ve become in business, and most importantly, in our lives.  We are family. 

For all those that have supported us, we thank you. Our hearts are filled with love from that support. 

For people who have reservations or credits still pending, we will get in touch personally to provide options and answer questions. 

So, thank you.  Thank you all for everything you have given to us.
