My journey…
I moved to LA. Originally from Vermont, my first Big Idea was to get as much hands-on experience as possible. So Immediately after graduating with a film and television degree from Boston University, I relocated to Los Angeles.
I worked. For 20+ years I worked in television production, in talent management, and in all levels of media development. I was a manager all areas of production. I also wrote scripts, directed sizzle reels, produced corporate videos, launched pilots, and started a few companies along the way.
My work has resulted in two EMMY award nominations, and have won 2 Gold Tellys.
I collaborated. I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with hundreds of media professionals on more than 35 series and video projects. From large stage productions and daily talk shows to nimble home renovation programs and online experiments, these experiences have led to lifelong partnerships and, even more importantly, lasting friendships. My colleagues remain an invaluable resource I rely on every day, and they are the part of my career I’m most proud of.
My current Big Idea. The pandemic taught us all how to work from anywhere, opening up new opportunities to collaborate in fresh ways. Now I bring the full breadth of my experience to teams wherever work happens. My focus is to help video teams manage projects seamlessly, streamline their workflows, and unlock their creative potential.
“Bob is a self-starter with great energy. He worked on two new TV shows for Milk Street and did a masterful job of organizing the shows, going on the road to do remote segments, finding crew, and making sure that we met deadlines. If you want someone who can get the job done, no questions asked, Bob is the guy to hire.”
— Christopher Kimball - Founder of Christopher Kimball's Milk Street
What some of my colleagues have said about me…
“Bob is a tenacious, detail-driven storyteller and producer. He was my Senior Producer on an HGTV series and always created out of the box and was reliable on delivering the elements we needed to tell a great story. I would recommend Bob and will hire him again.”
— Carl Buehl - Executive Produce
“Bob is a strong producer in the field and in the bay. He's a problem solver and a leader. The best part is he does it all with a smile on his face! Would hire him again for sure.”
— Robert Asher - Executive Producer
“Bob has a high level of creativity and enthusiasm. He has great vision and knows what he wants to see. I've worked on several projects with Bob and all have been great successes. He is a lot of fun to work with and I learned a lot from him as well. It is rare to not see a smile on Bob's face and his very positive attitude is highly contagious with everyone around him.”
— Scott Saulnier - Creative Director
“Bob is one of the most organized producers I've ever hired. His strength lies in his ability to anticipate needs before they arise. While working with Bob, several times I would suggest an idea that had popped into my head, and he would kindly let me know that it's already been done. Beyond professionalism, Bob is personally a delight. Funny, affable, and cool-headed during even the most stressful of shoots. He's a fantastic producer, and I've tried to hire him probably twice as many times as I've actually gotten him. Makes sense because producers like Bob are in high demand.”
— Sean Bury - Director of Video Production
